My 18th novel, FIENDS OF THE RISING SUN, gets a glowing appraisal on the 2000 AD Review website. As the reviewer noted, the book introduction characters and concepts for a planned trilogy of novels based around the notion of samurai vampires fighting for the Pacific during the Second World War. Alas, it looks like the Black Flame imprint that published Fiends is being wound down by Games Workshop, so the publishing arm can concentrate on its other lines, Solaris and Black Library. It's a shame as I had all sorts of stories planned for tragic but honorable Zenji Hitori and his cadre of blood sucking battle veterans, not to mention the plucky band of American pilots, soldiers and sailors who would have fought the undead peril. Oh, well. FIENDS OF THE RISING SUN is a cracking read in its own right, so give it a go.
