Genius: 56 simultaneous Star Trek eps


A wonderful wheeze this, which proves how much longer an hour-long US TV drama used to be [closer to 50 minutes than 40, which most shows are today]. I recommend jumping 49 minutes in and you get a right old Copland-esque cacophony of clashing theme tunes. As Spock would say, "fascinating!"

"They're not real!": Horrible Histories' RAF song


Horrible Histories is one of the best sketch shows on TV. Here it pays tribute to the Battle of Britainn pilots, includes a shout-out to the Polish and Czech flyers who often get overlooked, and utterly skewer early Take That songs, all at the same time. Champion!
