This is borrowed from the Facebook page of non-profit organisation A Helping Hand - Living With Depression, but I think it applies just as well to life as a creative person. A lot of people talk about their aspirations, or grumble about how hard it is to break in. But the first barrier to most creative people achieving what they want is them. Get out of your own way. Do what you want to do. Onwards!
