Simon Pegg still giving 2000 AD some love
The creators of Spaced - Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Jessica Hynes - went to Comic-Con to pimp the show's US DVD release. I'm glad he still loves 2000ad - I'm working on a comic script (and the art to go with it) that involves him and Judge Dredd at the moment...
I loved Spaced - great series, really inventive and fresh.
I also love SPACED. I subscibe to Edgar Wright's blogs on MySpace, and he linked to an interview they did with the American press. I can't find the link at the moment, but there was a funny comment made by Simon Pegg on how, in Season 1 of SPACED, his character Tim states that "Every odd-numbered Star Trek movie is crap!" He found it amusing if not slightly embarrassing now that he is starring in one of said movies!
