2000 AD in award-winning short film

Wednesday night at the London Film Festival SILENCE IS GOLDEN won the TCM Classic Shorts competition. The short features a cameo appearance by an issue of 2000 AD and is some weird-ass stuff. Click here to see Silence is Golden for yourself. Here's what the film festival judges had to say about the film: “Wonderfully surreal” - Imelda Staunton; “Technically extremely impressive, full of wit and imagination” - Stephen Poliakoff; “A wonderful combination of mixed media, strong storytelling and talented actors” - Matthew Modine; “Terrific, strong, non-sentimental kid’s story” - Terry Gilliam.
