Well, not so much special as short. But short can be special too, right? Today is my first day back at college classes, beginning the second year of my screenwriting MA course. It'll be interesting to see how many of my fellow part-timers made it back, and what the new intake is like - fresh and shiny and full of enthusiasm no doubt. Me, I feel old and tired, but that's what writing 5500 words in a day followed by a three and a half hour rehearsal followed by a bottle of wine followed by five hours sleep followed by getting up in the dark to go running for twenty minutes. Oh yeah, I'm full of beans today. Coffee beans, most likely.
Good news - I passed 95,000 words on my Warhammer novel yesterday. Bad news - I figure there's at least 8000 words still to go before I hit the finish. No prizes for guessing what I'll be doing next Monday...
